Campo San Giorgio Conero Riserva 2017 - 95 PUNTI
There’s a lovely seashell aroma that hits the nose first, followed by notes of fresh orange peel and ripe purple plums. Already engaged, and the palate replicates the same fresh fruit and mineral character, giving a light feel to this, despite it’s riserva status. Firm tannins kick in at the end. This is a very fine, terroir-driven wine that just needs time to shake off the still youthful tannin chew. Exceptional wine for Marche. Best from 2024.

Pelago 2017 - 92 PUNTI
There’s a very attractive, sea-urchin-like freshness to the blackberries here, both on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with a fairly straightforward, lightly firm palate. But it’s that delicate fruit and mineral complexity that marks this out as outstanding. Enjoy now.

Cúmaro Conero Riserva 2017 - 91 PUNTI
Super clean black-fruit character to this with a light riserva-style structure in the form of lightly firm oak tannins. Nicely structured, though no great complexity. Drink now.

Casal di Serra Classico Superiore 2020 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi - 91 PUNTI
Lemon and black-lime aromas follow through to a medium-bodied palate with a little almond-peel-like, phenolic tension towards the end. Clean, crisp and delicious verdicchio. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.

Vecchie Vigne Classico Superiore 2019 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi - 92 PUNTI
Interesting nose with almost limoncello aromas, as well as a pleasant hint of fresh donut! Medium-to full-bodied with a bright core of fruit and a long, silky finish. Leaves a hint of pure sweetness on your lips. From organically grown grapes. This is a quietly complex verdicchio that’s so drinkable.

Plenio Classico Riserva 2019 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi - 93 PUNTI
Jasmine, dried-pineapple, lemon-zest and oyster-shell aromas. It’s medium-to full-bodied with tangy acidity. Wonderfully textured and concentrated with a long, flavorful finish. Drink or hold.

Centovie Pecorino 2019 - 93 PUNTI
Aromas of mixed citrus fruit and flowers on the nose here, but the real fun lies in the complex mineral character, ranging from chalk to wet stones. The fruit comes more to the fore on the palate with lemony flavors, but there’s always the dense but unimposing, smooth mineral underlay. Nicely constructed with so many areas of interest. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.

Centovie Rosato 2020 - 91 PUNTI
Super clean, pale-pink rosé with lots of fresh, orangey red-fruit notes on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied,and crisp. Aperitif-style! Enjoy now.

Centovie Montepulciano 2017 - 91 PUNTI
I like the licoricy black fruit here, as well as the bright, floral and spicy notes. Medium-bodied with a bright and tight core of fruit and a firm, crisp feel at the end. Give it another year to even out. Best from 2023.

Vellodoro Pecorino 2020 - 92 PUNTI
A fresh and tasty white with lemon and key-lime pie aromas and flavors, together with savory, dried-herb character that keeps the medium palate focused and racy. Such fun to drink now.
