Umani Ronchi took part in the fifth edition of the Hospitality Summit in Zurich

On June 18–19, Umani Ronchi took part in the fifth edition of the Hospitality Summit in Zurich—an event that has become a key point of reference for the hotel and hospitality industry in Switzerland and beyond.
Two days of engaging debates, insights, and forward-looking perspectives marked this important gathering, organized by HotellerieSuisse.

The central theme of the 2025 edition, "Shaping the Future Together," highlighted the need for a hospitality sector that can anticipate change, meet evolving traveler expectations, and authentically integrate the values of sustainability, innovation, and experiential well-being.

Umani Ronchi's participation in the Hospitality Summit is part of a consistent path of growth in the world of wine tourism and hospitality—a vision that blends cultural heritage, a deep connection to the territory, and a commitment to high-quality guest experiences. This vision takes shape in a holistic system where wine, landscape, and hospitality engage in a harmonious dialogue.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Hospitality Trendreport 2035, a forward-looking study developed by HotellerieSuisse and Zukunftsinstitut. The report outlines future scenarios for the hospitality sector and delivers a clear message: businesses in tourism and hospitality will increasingly need to embrace sustainable, experience-driven, and relationship-oriented models capable of delivering genuine, long-lasting value.
Umani Ronchi fully embraces this direction, believing that wine tourism offers a contemporary lens through which to explore travel—one that engages the senses, stimulates the mind, and touches the heart.

During the event, the "Hotelier of the Year 2025" award was presented to Michael Smithuis, General Manager of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace—an annual recognition honoring individuals who have distinguished themselves through economic success, creativity, and innovation, making a significant contribution to the industry as a whole.

See you in Bern in 2026 for the next edition of the Hospitality Summit!
