Centovie Rosato: the first Umani Ronchi organic rosé comes from Abruzzo.

Our enological journey in Abruzzo region is enriched by a new experience. In a few days the first Umani Ronchi rosé wine will be released.

A new project that comes after years of experimentation in the Montepulciano vineyards that are all organically farmed. This wine has been created to combine the Montepulciano strong personality with a soft and delicate vinification in order to exalt freshness and fruity notes and obtain a pleasant drinkability.

Michele Bernetti explains the origin of the name, also reported on back the label.

"The Centovie name indicates first all the geographical space in Roseto degli Abruzzi where our vineyards are influenced by the close Gran Sasso Mountain and nature grows lush and harmoniously. Centovie is also a word that symbolically represents the departure and arrival of many possibilities, work and feelings. Centovie marks a path which begun in 2015 with Pecorino wine and continues today with the first Umani Ronchi organic rosé wine. A journey that will be ideally completed with the introduction of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo at Vinitaly 2019. Get ready! "

The distinctive feature of the Centovie wines - Pecorino and Rosato - is the lemon plant on the front label.

"It is a plant that has lived for decades in front of the old farmhouse located at the top of the propriety. We wanted to put it on the label because it distinguishes our Abruzzo estate. This ink illustration is a tribute to this paradise in Abruzzo that we will soon invite you to discover, visit and share."
