Our Vinitaly 2018

Vinitaly is just concluded and like every year we examine this edition numbers among world wine trends and consumers new tendencies. Vinitaly closes with the thrilling news of Italian wine export record in 2018 (+13%), and with the conviction that we should aspire to a quality progress of the Italian wine internationalization. In this context some macro trend like the Rosè growth especially in the American market, and the unstoppable request of organic and sustainable wines (Vinitaly-Nomisma Wine Monitor poll).

Trends that find a solid proof in our personal Vinitaly, distinguished on one side by the curiosity for the last born in Umani Ronchi family, La Hoz Rosè - Classic Method from Montepulciano grapes aged on yeasts for 30 months; on the other by the constant attention from both domestic and foreign markets to our organic line: Centovie, Vecchie Vigne, Casal di Serra, Montipagano.

Since Vinitaly always allows to link wine to other  topics, in this edition we have talked about wine tourism and the great potential of quality wine hospitality. A space where our winery is growing fast and developing new possibilities in terms of visits, wine tasting and welcoming. Umani Ronchi tasting experiences include the renovated Grand Hotel Palace in Ancona with also one special suite dedicated to the wine, the Wine Not? wine bar with a focus on local labels and Villa Bianchi country house in the Verdicchio area, with a private tasting room..
