Since 1967, Vinitaly has been a benchmark for the evolution of the national and international wine industry. Umani Ronchi has proudly been part of this journey, contributing to the ever-evolving story of wine through new projects, products, anniversaries, and collaborations. This 58th edition marks an important moment for us, bringing together heritage and innovation—starting from our renewed stand concept.
Plenio Anniversary
At Vinitaly, we celebrate 30 years of our Plenio Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG Classico.
To mark the occasion, the 2023 vintage is presented with an exclusive total-black label—created specifically for this anniversary and inspired by the visual language of some of the world’s most iconic wines.
First produced in 1995, Plenio has played a defining role in shaping our interpretation of Verdicchio. Its history, character, and evolution reflect the deep connection between this grape variety and its territory. Celebrating this milestone means honouring a project that has preserved its identity over time.
Davantage by Umani Ronchi
Another key innovation is the launch of Davantage, our new distribution model for fine wines in the Italian market—built on shared vision, affinity, and a multi-regional approach.
At its heart are the wines of Tenuta Torre a Cona, owned by the Conti Rossi di Montelera, in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini area. Alongside them, a gem from France: Jean-Baptiste Ponsot, a talented winemaker from the Côte Chalonnaise.
Wine Spectator Opera Wine
For the fifteenth consecutive year, we are proud to be included among the “Italian Finest Wines” selected by Wine Spectator.
In the “Legacy Icon” category, on Saturday, April 11 (Gallerie Mercatali), we will present for tasting our Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore Vecchie Vigne 2018.
New vintages for tasting
At Vinitaly, we will preview the latest vintages of our flagship wines from the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi area, reflecting the climatic patterns and harvest characteristics of each year:
- Casal di Serra 2025
- Vecchie Vigne 2024
- Plenio 2023
Also featured: Rosato Terre d’Abruzzo Centovie 2025 from our Abruzzo estate.
