Plenio Among the Top Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Wines Selected by Gambero Rosso

From the 2022 to the 2018 vintage, the June issue of Gambero Rosso features a selection of the best Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, telling the story of a territory stretching from the Adriatic coast to the Marche hills, and of a grape variety capable of expressing freshness, savoriness, and remarkable aging potential.

Within this selection is our Plenio, a wine that does not fear the passage of time but interprets it with elegance and depth:

“Another beautiful 2022 that, at this stage, seems to play its game more through restraint. Flinty stone and candied lemon zest on the nose anticipate a tense and vibrant palate, with full flavor but undoubtedly more expressive in its acidity. Great purity and length, captivating from start to finish (94 pts).”
