A cru born from change. The Fauda Vineyard and a New Perspective.
On the highest hills of the municipality of Montecarotto lies a vineyard that tells the story of our commitment to research and vision in meeting the challenges of climate change. A hillside long considered unsuitable because of its altitude (380 m) and northern exposure has become, thanks precisely to those characteristics, one of our most distinctive Verdicchio crus.
It stands as a symbol of a territory that evolves while preserving its identity and value.
Nestled in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi wine region, the 7-hectare vineyard was established in two phases: the first in 2022, followed by the second between 2023 and 2024. With rows spaced 2.6 metres apart, the vineyard was designed to encourage balanced vine growth while supporting sustainable vineyard management.
Surrounding the vines, a harmonious landscape of vineyards, olive groves, hedgerows and woodland reflects the richness of the local environment. This diverse mosaic helps preserve biodiversity and sustains the natural balance of the ecosystem throughout the seasons.
