Harvest 2025, first reflections: an interview with Michele Bernetti
On a splendid early August day, with sun and breeze, we officially began the 2025 harvest.
Always an emotional moment, this year it started on the left bank of the River Esino, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi, with the picking of Chardonnay grapes destined for the production of our Metodo Classico. This was followed by the selection of healthy, high-quality Verdicchio grapes, heralding a promising vintage.
After two seasons (2023 and 2024) marked by particularly hot and dry summers — which significantly affected grape yields — the first indications for 2025 point towards a high-quality harvest, with favourable weather conditions supporting the ripening process.
Michele Bernetti shared his initial impressions of the harvest in an interview with E’TV, where he also discussed the subject of tariffs and their impact on the wine sector.
