Vinitaly makes wines “international”

Almost one month left to the 51st edition of Vinitaly and Gambero Rosso celebrates this event interviewing some producers that have always believed in this fair as an essential moment for their wineries development.

Michele Bernetti talks about his family estate, Umani Ronchi, and the importance of Vinitaly, among changes and future projects: “Even today, Vinitaly is the time we meet our collaborators from over 60 countries. In Verona, we have built up important work relationships, contacts, friendships. We have also seen breakups and arguments. It is one of the most important dates on our calendar, and has been for fifty years”. He continues by saying how the fair grew during the years, together with exhibitors and visitors from everywhere in the world, and he underlines how important is to inform and communicate with wine lovers that develop the wine culture while simplifying consumers final choices.

At the end he anticipates some 2017 news regarding his winery: a new Pecorino in barrels and the new look & style of Pelago. Both products will be introduced during Vinitaly.
