Twelve months, twelve moments that left their mark

Milestones, visions and new directions: here is our 2025 told through 12 significant stages.

 

January – Cod according to chef Massimo Capretta

The new year opens with a collaboration and a story: chef Massimo Capretta of Ristorante Arca
dedicates to our wines a selection of stories, recipes and pairings that enhance his idea of
Mediterranean organic cuisine. An event at Wine Not in Ancona that brings together research,
authentic flavours and gastronomic culture, renewing the bond between cuisine and territory.

 

February – Historical at the Slow Wine Fair
Our Historical takes centre stage at the Slow Wine Fair, the international event dedicated to “good,
clean and fair wine”. A special masterclass celebrates the value of Old Vines, with selections from
different Italian regions and the contribution of Sarah Abbott, alongside Giancarlo Gariglio and
Alessandro Marra. An event reaffirming the importance of ampelographic memory and
sustainability.

 

March – Industria Felix at LUISS in Rome
March brings an important recognition: in Rome, within the Industria Felix framework, Umani Ronchi enters the list of Italy’s 100 most competitive companies. At LUISS Guido Carli University, we receive the “High Budget Honour” and the title of “Best Company in the Wine Sector”, highlighting financial solidity, reliability and managerial vision.

 

April – Cinema, Art & Wine to tell the story of Marche
Umani Ronchi takes part in the auteur short film Sakura Land of Symphony, produced by Poliarte – Gruppo Rainbow and dedicated to the Marche region in view of Expo Osaka 2025. With Campo San Giorgio, the project unites art, landscape and wine, transforming a territory into a visual narrative and anticipating the future of its cultural promotion.

 

May – Twenty years of Paesaggio d’Eccellenza
The event Riscriviamo il futuro celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Paesaggio d’Eccellenza Association, of which we are part alongside historic local brands. A talk focused on relaunching entrepreneurship in the Marche, the value of networking and the need to share productive culture, territorial identity and industrial heritage.

 

June – Davantage by Umani Ronchi is born
2025 sees the launch of DAVANTAGE, Umani Ronchi’s new proposal dedicated to a different way of experiencing the distribution of great wines. A model based on affinity, vision and a multi-geographical approach, designed to create authentic connections and a more personal experiential journey.

Torre a Cona, a Tuscan winery, is the first key element of the Davantage vision, together with the French estate Jean Baptiste Ponsot.

 

July – Ulisse Fest: the story of a journey
Travel becomes narrative: at Ulisse Fest, five leading voices in food, wine and travel journalism interpret the Marche through a three-day journey across the symbolic places of our hospitality. A dialogue between territory, culture and welcome that highlights our most authentic identity.

 

August – The 2025 harvest on TG1
The harvest enters the national debate: on TG1 Uno Mattina, Michele Bernetti speaks with Massimiliano Ossini about the progress of the harvest, production growth and future prospects for the sector. A discussion emphasising the importance of data, sustainability and long-term strategies in the world of wine.

 

September – Opera Wine 2026: Umani Ronchi Legacy Icon
From Chicago, Wine Spectator presents the selection of 150 wineries featured at Opera Wine 2026. Umani Ronchi is among the “Legacy Icons”, the 31 wineries present at every edition of the event and a symbol of the history of Italian wine. A confirmation of our enduring role as interpreters and ambassadors of the territory.

 

October – Istituto Grandi Marchi: awards and eastern horizons
In Rome, the Istituto Grandi Marchi presents its international award dedicated to leading figures in wine journalism. The recognition goes to Isao Miyajima, one of Japan’s foremost wine experts, honoured for his dedication and expertise in promoting Italian wine culture. A moment that strengthens dialogue between Italy and the East.

 

November – Sustainability Award 2025
Umani Ronchi is listed among the Top Performers at the Sustainability Award 2025, as reported by Forbes. A result that recognises decades-long commitment to sustainable viticulture based on ethics, innovation and responsibility – a model embracing environmental, economic and social dimensions, continuously evolving for over 25 years.

 

December – Plenio: 30 years of history
2025 celebrates the 30th anniversary of Plenio Riserva Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Classico: three decades of research, insight and daily care. A wine that has narrated the evolution of Verdicchio and the identity of the Castelli di Jesi. To mark the occasion, the 2023 vintage is released with a renewed look, a celebratory label and dedicated packaging that express its symbolic strength and continuity.
