Umani Ronchi at Slow Wine Fair 2026

Umani Ronchi took part in the 5th edition of “Slow Wine Fair” (22–24 February 2026 at BolognaFiere), the Slow Wine event dedicated to wines that are “good, clean and fair”, placing not only quality at its heart but also the ethical, social and environmental value of wine production.

Because “wine is only good if it is also fair”. Social justice was explored through a wide range of discussions on key issues for the present and future of wine: positive impact on local areas and communities as a driver of development and inclusion; fair work in the vineyard and responsible agricultural choices; opportunities for young people; the revival of mountain areas; and the increasingly central role of women in the world of wine.

Umani Ronchi’s participation in Slow Wine Fair confirms a tangible commitment to conscious viticulture, capable of combining quality, responsibility and long-term vision. A virtuous path in which wine becomes a tool for inclusion, dignity in work, community development and socio-cultural growth.

A summary and different perspectives can be found in the Wine News video featuring Michele Bernetti.
