Umani Ronchi among the Members of the Slow Wine Coalition
Umani Ronchi is among the Members of the Slow Wine Coalition, a select group of wineries that share key principles of sustainability and a vision for today’s wine world. The Friends of the Slow Wine Coalition contribute to the participatory life of this important international network promoted by Slow Food and dedicated to wine. They share and spread the Manifesto for Good, Clean and Fair Wine and its values, offering their support to the activities of the Slow Wine Coalition.
Alongside our company, this select group of Friends includes several important Italian wineries: Allegrini, Avignonesi, Ceretto, Col d’Orcia, Planeta, Terre Margaritelli. These companies meet periodically to compare notes and share ideas, projects and reflections. A commitment that goes beyond wine: safeguarding biodiversity, respect for labour, and responsibility towards the land, in harmony with their objectives.
The annual meeting has just taken place in Piedmont, in Alba at Ceretto Winery, while the next event that will bring them together again will be in February in Bologna, on the occasion of the fifth edition of the Slow Wine Fair (BolognaFiere, 22–24 February 2026). At the heart of the fair is the theme of “fairness” viewed in a 360-degree perspective.
