2027 Guides: First Accolades!

The first results from the guides and competitions dedicated to the new wine season confirm something that is particularly meaningful to us: our wines are being recognized not only for their quality, but also for their ability to authentically express their territory and identity.

In its 2027 edition, the Touring Club’s Vini Buoni d’Italia Wine Guide awards the “Corona” to Verdicchio Vecchie Vigne 2024 and Metodo Classico Nature La Hoz 2021. Two wines that differ in style and journey, yet share the ability to convey a clear sense of origin and character. The selection now continues to the National Finals for the TOP 300.

Further recognition comes from Civiltà del bere and the WOW! jury. Verdicchio Vecchie Vigne 2024 and Pecorino Centovie 2024 receive the “WOW! 2026 Gold Medal”, following a blind tasting conducted by an international jury of professionals. The evaluation considers two fundamental dimensions: intrinsic quality and typicity — that is, the ability to express one’s identity in a distinctive and recognizable way.

Perhaps this is precisely the common thread linking the first accolades of the season, and it is also reflected in the assessment by DoctorWine. The 13th edition of The Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2027 by Daniele Cernilli awards the Faccino DoctorWine to Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Historical 2021, giving it a score of 96/100 and naming it “Best Verdicchio 2027.”

Three approaches, three tasting moments, three different ways of looking at wine, yet all converging on one essential point: the ability of our wines to stand out for their quality, typicity, and personality.

The season has only just begun. We look forward to following the upcoming selections and the new results from the 2027 wine guides.
