Industria Felix: Umani Ronchi Among the 79 Award-Winning Companies for Competitiveness and Financial Reliability

Industria Felix in Rome: Central and Island Regions Show Strong Profitability and Growing Employment.

Umani Ronchi has achieved a second consecutive win, receiving the Industria Felix – Italy That Competes Award for the second year in a row.

The recognition was presented in Rome at Palazzo Brancaccio during the 70th Industria Felix event. The ceremony brought together leading figures from the business and institutional worlds, featuring a talk moderated by Tg1 journalist Maria Soave and the involvement of partners such as Banca Mediolanum and ELITE (Euronext Group).

The study underpinning the award was conducted by Industria Felix Magazine, an economics publication edited by Michele Montemurro, in collaboration with Cerved and published as a supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore. The analysis examined the financial statements of thousands of joint-stock companies with revenues exceeding €2 million in Central Italy and the Islands—areas that demonstrate a dynamic production system, with the Marche region showing growth in both revenues (+3.7%) and employment (+8.2%).

The selection is based on an algorithm that identified the top-performing companies according to economic and financial indicators such as EBIT margin, profitability, financial soundness, net profit, and employment growth. The results were subsequently validated by an independent Scientific Committee composed of academics and economic experts.

Within this context, Umani Ronchi stands out for the strength of its business model, which combines innovation, sustainability, and a strong connection to its territory, confirming the ability of the wine sector to produce competitive companies even within a multi-industry landscape.

This marks a significant achievement for Umani Ronchi, the only company from the wine sector included among the 79 award-winning excellences in this edition.

“Being included once again among the selected companies is an important recognition of the work carried out in recent years,” said Michele Bernetti, CEO of Umani Ronchi. “This award confirms that our long-term vision, based on targeted investments and responsible management, is the right path to address the challenges of an increasingly complex global market. We will continue to strengthen our organization while maintaining a strong connection to our identity and roots.”
