Umani Ronchi and Campo San Giorgio Star in an Auteur Short Film Celebrating the Marche Region at Expo Osaka 2025

A candid image from the set, the excitement of a project that brings together art, place, and culture: Umani Ronchi is proud to take part in the creation of an auteur short film by Poliarte – Rainbow Group, set to premiere globally on 2 June 2025 at Expo Osaka in the Italian Pavilion, during the week dedicated to the Marche region.

At the heart of our contribution is Campo San Giorgio Conero Riserva DOCG, a wine that symbolises the excellence of Marche viticulture and our philosophy centred on quality, sustainability, and deep local roots. “Supporting a project that celebrates the Marche through art and cinema fills us with pride. Campo San Giorgio embodies the soul of our work: attention to detail, promotion of the territory, and the desire to speak to the world with an authentic and contemporary voice. Seeing it become part of
such a meaningful story is profoundly moving.”

The short film, written by Sergio Ramazzotti, directed by Paolo Doppieri, with artistic direction by Marco Delio Rossi, tells the story of Hitoshi, a Japanese violinist who, after missing a ship in Ancona, embarks on an unexpected journey through the Marche region. Guided by young designer Chiara, he discovers a land capable of touching the soul – a journey of inner transformation that connects memory and the present, East and West, through landscapes, art, and music.

Produced by Genesis Srl (Roberto Venuso) with support from the Marche Film Commission – Fondazione Marche Cultura, the film is part of the “Metaverso Raffaello” project, funded by the Ministry of University and Research and the European Union as part of the Next Generation EU programme.

Cast: Dharma Mangia Woods (Chiara), Taiyo Yamanouchi (Hitoshi), Isabella Carloni, Yukari Ishibashi, William Zhang, Giuseppe Lorenzo Quagliano, and Alfredo Sorichetti.

With filming now complete, anticipation is building for the global premiere on 2 June in Osaka – an event that will carry the voice of the Marche to the heart of Expo 2025, through a work that interweaves art, cinema, and identity.
