Umani Ronchi & Lonely Planet: Ulisse Fest Returns to Ancona from 4 to 6 July 2025
Umani Ronchi will be among the key participants at Ulisse Fest – the travel festival by Lonely Planet – taking place in Ancona from 4 to 6 July. This renewed edition celebrates travel as a profound and personal experience, filled with encounters, imagery and stories that can transform our way of seeing the world.
Three days of events, concerts, shows and workshops will feature more than 100 guests and 40 happenings, including previews, DJ sets and performances across some of the city’s most iconic venues: the Arena sul Mare, Mole Vanvitelliana, theatres, loggias and central squares.
It’s a packed schedule that includes diverse experiences involving our world as well. On 5 July, the Wine Not? panel will focus on Umani Ronchi’s wine tourism and cultural project, in an open dialogue with Luca Iaccarino and a select group of journalists specialising in wine, food and travel.
On 4 July, the Accessible Tourism round table will be held at the Loggia dei Mercanti, featuring Roberta Garibaldi and a contribution from CEO Michele Bernetti. Investing in a wine tourism and cultural project represents a strategic commitment for Umani Ronchi – a philosophy that aligns perfectly with the goals of Ulisse Fest, of which the company is a partner for the second consecutive year.
“This initiative,” states Michele Bernetti, CEO of Umani Ronchi, “allows us to explore trends and opportunities in hospitality and wine tourism – sectors in which we invest passionately. We strongly believe that an authentic and sustainable approach to hospitality can enrich not only visitors, but also the local area, creating a virtuous cycle that supports the economy, promotes employment, and enhances our priceless cultural heritage. That’s why we continue to develop innovative projects capable of attracting visitors and making them feel part of our story and traditions.”
On 6 July, Wine Not? will also host the presentation of a docufilm by Gianluca Vitiello, Radio Deejay speaker. There will be vineyard and winery experiences, as well as participation from the Grand Hotel Palace Boutique & Wine Hotel in the heart of Ancona, and Hotel Monteconero – a
former monastery from the 12th century overlooking the sea in Sirolo – both serving as unique destinations on this journey.
