Opera Wine 2026: Umani Ronchi “Legacy Icon” by Wine Spectator

For the first time, Wine Spectator revealed directly from Chicago, USA, the list of the 150 wineries selected for OperaWine 2026. Umani Ronchi is among the “Legacy Icons” — the 31 wineries that have taken part in all editions of OperaWine and that embody the history of Italian wine throughout the world, serving as an ongoing source of inspiration and exploration.

Following them in the list are 69 “Classics” and 50 “New Voices” — a selection of wineries from across the Italian peninsula, all united by the outstanding quality of their wines, despite differences in territory, production style, and business size.

The list of the OperaWine 2026 participants was announced by Bruce Sanderson and Alison Napjus for Wine Spectator during the wine2wine Vinitaly Business Forum Chicago 2025.

The OperaWine event will take place on 11 April in Verona, on the eve of Vinitaly 2026, scheduled from 12 to 15 April.

Proud to be there.
